Thank you to you and your team for preparing the most wonderful canapés and buffet for Andrea, myself and our 40 guests, in the marquee at Swallowtail Boatyard for the combined party to celebrate my 60th birthday and the launch of our new yacht. It was much more than the food and the service on the day as you were able to advise on the marquee hire, tables, chairs and all the linen, crockery etc that was essential to ensure a smooth event. There must have been close to 100 guests for the champagne launch and your ladies ensured that there was never an empty glass, even the odd rain shower and gusty wind didn’t dampen the fun of the event. Then the marquee was beautifully laid for the evening event. On arrival the guests were always well looked after with champagne and your accompanying canapés are something that will be talked about for a very long time – they were truly delicious. Then there was the buffet and deserts, a fabulous choice of salmon, cold meats and salads, beautifully presented and served. We could not have asked for anything better, it was a truly delicious meal. All the time your ladies ensured our glasses were full. As the evening unfolded I began to realize that there had been some extra planning in the background between Andrea and yourself with the surprise of a birthday cake. (That was a well kept secret!)

You made the whole event such fun, took away all the stress of organization and gave us and our friends a day to remember for the rest of our lives. Words cannot do justice because you need superlatives to describe everything that you prepared and arranged for us. You have a superb and very professional team. We just need to think of another reason to have a party so that we can do it all again.

Avril came to cook for a dinner party for my 50th Birthday. I cannot praise her and her food high enough, we felt like superstars having our own personal chef. From start to finish Avril and our waitress Debbie were professional but really thoughtful, friendly and helpful.

Avril brought everything with her that she would need and whilst she got on with the cooking Debbie served us the most beautiful canapés. Then we were ready for the main event, the table looked stunning and the starters were magnificent, I have never seen or tasted prawns like it, they just melted in your mouth. The main courses were fabulous, my skate was superb. As for the toblerone cheesecake, what can I say? A masterpiece! The cheeseboard rounded off the meal beautifully with all the locally sourced cheeses.

I was worried that as it was a kitchen diner there would be lots of noise and rattling of pans whilst we were trying to eat but it was as if the fairies had produced the meal, we were surprised that another course had been produced without us even noticing. Then all of a sudden everything was cleared up and it was as if nobody had been there, we did not have to do a thing just sit back and indulge.

I can honestly say I have never had such a perfect meal, the attention to detail was out of this world and we could not believe how reasonable the price was, you would easily pay £100 a head in London for the meal we had. I just wish Avril would come to Essex, we would have her every week!! I cannot recommend Avril highly enough, she really is a genius.

We booked a family weekend break to a stunning 10 bedroom farmhouse, with a hot tub, sauna and indoor heated swimming pool... could it get any better than this...? Yes... and it did when Avril arrived on the Saturday night and cooked the most amazing 3 course dinner for 12 of us. A surprise dinner party was arranged for mum & dad and we had chosen our individual menu's via emails. Avril was always very prompt with replies to any questions/requests I had. Then I met Avril for the first time on the evening of our dinner party and her friendly, approachable and professional manner made me feel at ease immediately.

She amazed us with her outstanding quality of food, the portion sizes, the presentation, the service all of the highest standard! The scallops were the best we have tasted, the beef wellington melted in your mouth, and as for the Toblerone Cheesecake... divine. Mum & dad were amazed and overwhelmed that they were being wined and dined in this house and were not having to lift a finger. Avril and Lisa (our waitress) were brilliant! What better way to entertain with no mess, no fuss, no hassle.

As numbers rose Avril was never fazed and the resulting canapés were delicious. I am still receiving thanks from friends and such great comments about the food and the very professional service Avril and her team provided.

Avril is a regular visiting Chef at our self-catering barns and all of my guests who have used Avril's services cannot speak highly enough of her delicious food and helpful attitude. Avril had catered for Hen Parties, Birthdays and Anniversaries at our barns. I was therefore only to pleased to have the opportunity of trying Avril's skills myself and believe me Avril lived up to and beyond all expectations.

I am just waiting, thinking and hoping when can Avril come and cook for me again!

We had our wedding reception in a barn and wanted the food to be a central part of the occasion and complement the rustic and authentic feel of the venue, so finding the right caterer was a key priority in our wedding planning.

We feel really lucky to have discovered Avril. Her amazing food and brilliant attitude really made the day. She made delicious canapés, hog roast with stuffing and crackling and beef sirloin. She did the freshest dressed salmon I’ve ever tasted. To accompany this she presented a great selection of salads and wonderful home-made bread.

Then we came to dessert. Avril’s hot chocolate fudge cake with hot chocolate sauce and home-made vanilla ice-cream became the talking point of the evening, and her lemon tarte with raspberry coulis is divine!

The service was also spot on. Teresa and the waitresses were calm and professional and went above and beyond to help us keep to our timings and accommodate our guests.

From our first meeting in April to the big day in October, Avril was incredibly enthusiastic and organised. She had a busy summer, but whenever we called, emailed or met her, she made us feel like our wedding was the only event in her diary this year.

She was creative and helpful in putting our menu together, but relaxed and flexible when I kept changing my mind!

Avril was our rock! We cannot recommend her highly enough.

The evening was a great success, great food, well organised and very slick service, all of which made my mum feel very relaxed and spoilt. The quality of all the food was high with the highlights standing out being the starter and the Creme Brule. The roast potatoes and yorkshire puddings were also very highly rated! Thank you for making a special evening, very memorable. We will spread the word!

If you're into great food and enjoy going to the best restaurants but have a family and not many willing babysitters then you HAVE to get Avril round. We rented self catering accommodation for a short break and Avril was rec commended to us by the owner. It was my parents' 40th wedding anniversary and we wanted to treat them to a nice meal. We gave her a call, asked her to include a few favourites on the menu and hey presto! She arrived laden with homemade goodies, delighted us from one course to the next and THEN cleaned up afterwards! It was BLISS! Don't let a holiday in Norfolk go by without giving Avril a call, she is a must!

The food was fantastic!! The service was fantastic!! The price was fantastic!! Totally worth it! We didn't have to lift a finger! We each enjoyed our individual dishes - the butternut squash soup with homemade granary bread and the toblerone cheesecake were a particular hit with our hen party! Since Avril has taken over our VIP catering for our corporate jet's, we have been extremely pleased with both the level of service and the quality of the food produced. The presentation has always been a bone of contention with other caterers, but again Avril surpasses our expectations and presents whatever catering is required in a very up-market and professional way. I want to eat most of it myself!

I hired Chef 2 Dine 4 for my sisters hen party for 16 guests. I had a great feeling from the word go just from the website and talking to Avril and I wasn't disappointed. The food was utterly delicious and beautifully presented, everyone was impressed. I'd hire her again in a heart beat.

Thank you so much for such an amazing Dinner, catering for 30 people in such a tiny kitchen was a real achievement, especially as we were 30 rowdy hens. The food and service was top quality, I had the mushrooms followed by chicken followed by lemon tart, it was all cooked perfectly and exactly the right potions for the evening - delicious. The Tolberone cheesecake also went down particularly well with all girls. From all the comments I received about the Hen weekend, the girls mentioned how great the catering was, so a real testament for you and your team. For me organising the weekend, it was definitely a highlight and thank you so much for helping it run so smoothly.

Just to say thank you for a wonderful meal. The butternut squash soup was fabulous! Everyone enjoyed their meals and were very impressed with how neat and tidy you are while cooking! Looking forward to our next meal in March.
